Here is an incredibly hard-to-find 1997 Andorra 25 Diners gold and platinum bi-metal coin. This coin is from "The Protection of Nature" Series. The obverse features a graceful swan with the Catalan word for swan, "Cigne" above, the date below, and the weights, identities, and purities of the precious metals. The reverse features the country, a boundary cross, and the denomination. A boundary cross dates to the Fifth Century and was used as a wrought iron boundary marker between ecclesiastical jurisdictions. While this coin has a mintage of 10,000, most of the mintage ended up in the Far East as jewelry. It is very difficult to find this coin in pristine, uncirculated, and undamaged condition
