For sale, a premium mouthpiece for the discriminating professional, an original Bach Mt. Vernon 1C trumpet mouthpiece in beautiful silver plate!
Highly sought by serious players and collectors alike, this mouthpiece from the early 1960s is the basis for countless modern copies attempting to capture the qualities of this most noteworthy era of Bach production.
The underside of the exterior of the cup appears to have been buffed at some point, leading to some fading of the lower half the text. However, the rim and inner cup appear unaffected and this, and along with a small impact dent in the same region, and some light wear and tear, are the only damage and are entirely aesthetic in nature. Plays just as beautifully as when it was new over 60 years ago!
