. These dowels may not make perfect 2.75" diameter pieces. The diameter will vary from 2.5" to 2.75".

to an average of
6-10% moisture content

CURLY FIGURE IN THESE DOWELS WILL VARY FROM LIGHT TO MEDIUM-HIGH GRADE!
Curly figure may not be visible from pictures due to lighting and angle of the picture. Rest assured that these ARE curly hard maple dowels!
This product is a CHEAP alternative to our perfect grade #1 dowels for your woodworking projects!
These doweled blanks are tossed out from a large inventory of wood due to rips/tears/knots/cracks/slight warps/twist and other imperfections. There is STILL usable material available in these pieces, but there may not be enough to create a 2.75"x36" dowel.
